MOTOROiD

Introducing MOTOROiD, an autonomous motorcycle born in a new collaborative endeavor between designers and engineers.

The Yamaha Motor Innovation Center was completed in December 2016 as the company’s new base for design. In a practice unlike anything before at Yamaha, our designers and engineers gather together in the same studios to work collectively on developing the next generation of Yamaha products. This collaborative effort to think outside the box and cross the boundaries of their individual specialties helps breed new and exciting advances in innovation, with designers sometimes proposing ideas for vehicle frames and mechanisms, or the engineers giving even deeper thought to the beauty of the final product’s finish.

It was at this new facility at the cutting edge of Yamaha product development that “MOTOROiD” was born. Were we to describe this creation in a word, it is an “autonomous motorcycle.” Employing artificial intelligence, it is able to recognize the owner’s face and actions, stand up from its kickstand and come to its rider. Our aim was to create a new-generation motorcycle in the unique style of Yamaha, so that when the rider settles into the racer-like riding position and grabs the handlebars, it provides a sporty and exciting riding experience regardless of the person’s individual skills or athleticism.

Despite the awesome conglomeration of mechanical and electronic technology this model represents, it doesn’t have a flashy look. The frame retains traces of the cuts made to create it, the body is marked with un-bandaged scars here and there, and the tires are worn to the point that even the tread grooves are nearly gone. The machine emits a tremendous presence, like a prototype was just brought in straight after numerous hard-run track tests. What you can get from a glimpse of MOTOROiD is the present and the future of Yamaha Design. The designers and engineers wanted to show the public what their repeated creative clashes—and the resulting trust—gave birth to in unaltered form: a machine proudly showing its true colors and all the scars of trial and error.

HECTOR TO BE RELEASED BY MID-2019

MG Motors launches its 1st  SUV in India to be be launched by mid 2019.

The MG motors is a new company in India (which is a British company) and it launches its 1st car which to our good luck is a SUV. However the exact date of launch has not been confirmed, but some leaks say that it will be launched by July 2019.

MG motor has confirmed that the SUV that will be launched in India will be called as 'Hector". It has also come to know that the SUV will be launched with an estimated price of 17 lakh.

In an article it has come to the MG Hector will be powered by the same Fiat 2.0-litre Multi-jet diesel engine as the Jeep Compass and there will also be a petrol engine on offer that could be a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol.

What about its size?? however the official dimensions of the car has not been released but MG Motors has already confirmed that Hector will be bigger than the Honda's CR-V in terms of dimensions, so with this we have a good idea of how long it will be. But unfortunately it will be a 5-seater SUV only. Compared to the Jeep Compass, the Hector will be longer and wider.

MG also has plans to launch a 7-seater version of the Hector as well, shortly after its launch and to my guess it will be by end of this year as the company needs to settle in a new region so as to increase its sale and build the trust among customers, now if you still wanna buy a 7 seater, wait a little longer until I update you on the further news.

.

Hector would be a competition to the other SUV's which are Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson, Mahindra XUV500 and the Tata Harrier

MG Motor India has said that it will launch one new vehicle in India every year. Speaking on the company’s plans for the market, Rajeev Chaba, who is the President & Managing Director, MG Motor India, said, “The MG brand seeks to embrace the incredible technology of the future while cherishing its great British heritage. We are moving forward swiftly on our India strategy and building a strong organization to embrace the future. Our aim is to provide vehicles that will be new-age and very contemporary, with a premium image and great value.”
